THE GRAND MARAIS JAZZ FEST IS BACK

Grand Marais, Minnesota is a unique, and often overlooked, destination vacation treasure in the United States.  Grand Marais sits on the North Shore of Lake Superior on the edge of the North Woods and serves as the gateway to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.  The Boundary Waters are accessible by the Gunflint Trail, one breathtaking road that winds north and weaves between lodges, resorts and outfitters that offer custom-tailored vacations year around for their guests.  Just 18 miles east of the Lutsen Mountains ski and summer fun area, Grand Marais is proudly rooted in logging, fishing, mining and tourism.

The vibrant lakeside town offers art galleries and working art studios, jewelry boutiques, a wide range of restaurants, and a pristine harbor with hiking trails along the shore and views of the Sawtooth Mountains.  Just a scenic 45 minute drive east from Grand Marais is the Grand Portage Lodge & Casino near to the Canadian border.  The rich arts tradition in Grand Marais, coupled with a friendliness and hospitality only found in The North, will keep you coming back year after year.

Come enjoy top-flight jazz, cuisine and hospitality on the North Shore●Gunflint Trail.
